Aha Video presents a new romantic drama called “Vidya Vasula Aham,” starring Rahul Vijay and Shivani Rajashekar. Originally scheduled to release in theaters around Sankranthi in 2023 was this film. But now that a lengthy wait is over, Aha Video has it directly. To decide whether to see this love story this weekend, let’s read the review.
As a mechanical engineer by trade, Vasu (Rahul Vijay) worries his parents about getting married. An ambitious girl named Vidya (Shivani Rajashekar) has certain requirements in mind when choosing a life partner. The story continues with Vidya’s meeting with Vasu, their marriage, and the ego-driven problems they encounter together.
Many love drama films concerning marital issues have been produced. Regarding the genre, “Vidya Vasula Aham” is nothing unique, and the premise of the film instantly reminds us of a number of other films. It also seems like a rather ridiculous fight between the two main characters in the film. Given how illogical the film becomes after the interval, it appears that the running length was intentionally shortened.
Rahul Vijay, who made a good impression in the last film “Kota Bommali PS,” performed ok in this one. Shivani Raajashekar appears fine in certain parts and unimpressive in others. Kalyani Malik had some good songs. Both the conversation and the cinematography are inadequate. If Manikanth Gelli, the filmmaker, had given the second half more thought and concentrated on the tension between the main characters, the film would have worked better.
Vidya Vasula Aham is a mediocre romance drama that doesn’t provide anything novel overall. We can give it a shot because we don’t have any other movie plans for this weekend.
