Buddy Telugu Movie Review

After a break, Allu Sirish is back with the action-comedy drama “Buddy.” To draw more attention, he announced that single-screen tickets would be priced at $99, while multiplex tickets would be $125, which has piqued the audience’s interest.

The plot follows Aditya Ram (Allu Sirish), a pilot, who falls in love with Pallavi (Gayatri Bharadwaj), an air traffic controller. The story takes a twist when Pallavi is kidnapped, and Aditya must save her with the help of a teddy bear.

Although “Buddy” features an inventive storyline, it suffers from predictable tropes. Some action scenes are well-crafted, and Allu Sirish delivers a solid performance. However, these elements are not enough to sustain viewer interest.

The film often fails to build suspense, and Ali’s comedic subplot disrupts the main narrative. Gayatri Bharadwaj shines in some scenes, while Allu Sirish gives a commendable performance overall. Ajmal Ameer’s acting comes across as forced, and the supporting performances from Mukesh Rishi, Ali, and others are just average.

On the technical side, “Buddy” is decent. Hiphop Tamizha’s soundtrack and background score are adequate, and Krishnan Vasant’s cinematography is average.

Director San Anton introduces an intriguing concept but struggles to make it compelling on screen. Overall, “Buddy” is a film worth watching once.
