Dhanush has proven his talents not only as an exceptional actor but also as a skilled director. After making his directorial debut with Pa Paandi, he has returned to the director’s chair for Raayan after a significant hiatus.
Raayan, which marks Dhanush’s 50th film, sees him taking on both directing and acting duties. The film features an ensemble cast including Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Aparna Balamurali, SJ Suryah, Dushara Vijayan, and Selva Raghavan, all sharing the screen with Dhanush.
Set to stream on Prime Video starting August 23, 2024, Raayan will be available in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam.
The movie also stars Nithya Menen, Amala Paul, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Anikha Surendran in key roles.
Directed by Dhanush, with music by AR Rahman, and cinematography by Om Prakash, Raayan is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner.
