Natural Star Nani is well-known for his content-based movies. He reveled in his consecutive successes with Dasara and Hi Nanna. Now, the two have worked together twice: the first time was for Ante Sundaraniki and the second time was with Vivek Athreya.
There are now really great hopes for this Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. The cause for the excitement is the pairing of Nani and Vivek Athreya, SJ Suryah’s presence in the movie, and the Sanivaram battle scene. Let’s see if the movie meets or exceeds our expectations.
In the narrative, a middle-class man named Surya (Nani) leads a modest existence but struggles with anger management from his early years. His mother advises him to control his rage and direct it solely towards Sanivaram. But how do Surya and Daya (SJ Suryah) interact, and what is the relationship between Surya and the Sokulapalem people? is centered around the movie.
The Sanivaram fight is one of the film’s unusual moments, but overall, it is treated like a typical mass-market commercial movie.
There are plenty Surya and Daya moments in the first half, even though the treatment is routine. Each character has a strong writing style. Apart from Surya and Daya’s personality, the love track doesn’t bring any worth to the plot and doesn’t keep our interest during the first part.
We are intrigued to see the second half because of the interval block, but it is incredibly predictable. The second half lacks originality; a few action scenes are well-done, but overall the Sokulapalem scenes feel incredibly dragged out.
While SJ Suryah as Daya is excellent, Nani as Surya is the real star of the show. Priyanka Arul Mohan’s portrayal of Charu is endearing, but it lacks potential. Sai Kumar and the others performed admirably.
The movie’s Hero, Jakes Bejoy, comes in second to Nani and SJ Suryah. His outstanding background score brought something special to each scenario. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is a commercial film that is best watched once.
