Since he hasn’t had much success in the past several years, actor Sudheer Babu opted to take on a mass audience part in the film “Harom Hara.” Throughout their interviews with the media, the whole film crew exuded confidence in the film’s potential for success.
The protagonist of Harom Hara is Subramanyam, who relocates to Kuppam hamlet to work as a lab assistant before encountering several events that change his career to that of a gunsmith. The remainder of the story is about the perilous circumstances he encountered after becoming a gunsmith.
The plot of the Harom Hara film is quite simple and flat, as we have grown accustomed to seeing it over the past few decades. Although the movie’s narrative and emotional impact is relatively weak, there are a few sequences of mass elevation that could resonate with the audience, who enjoy watching mass-market films. On-screen action scenes are done incredibly effectively.
For the first time, actor Sudheer Babu looked amazing in a fully realized mass part. Malavika Sharma fared alright. Sunil performed admirably in a substantial role. In the parts they played, the other actors were all respectable.
Chaitan Bharadwaj’s background soundtrack and songs are among this film’s greatest features. The cinematography by Arvind Viswanathan also heightens the appeal. The quality of the production is average.
Director Gnanasagar Dwaraka needs to focus more on the second part. For the major protagonist, he focused more on the action and elevation scenes.
Harom Hara isn’t a particularly good commercial film overall, but it’s worth seeing for a few group sequences and Sudheer Babu’s performances.
